Ten Percent Down White Picket Fence House in This Dirt…

Evan and I have been so busy lately, I haven’t even had the chance to think about blogging, but things are winding down now so here I am. About a month ago, Evan and I bought our first house. We were actually planning on closing at the end of November and then of course we lost Noah, so because we had the best realtor and loan officer we could’ve asked for, they were able to pull some strings and allow us to close later than planned, which is what we needed to recover. Sooo, on January 9th we finally closed on our home.
Buying a house is so stressful, but I think when you’re building your own house it makes it more fun. We got to pick out a lot of our finishes so that made the process a little more exciting. It is a new house so we don’t have neighbors yet but we are hoping someone with small kids buys at least one of the houses next door to us, so Baby K will have some playmates. I’ve always envisioned living in an active neighborhood where my kids will have lots of friends to play with and thats what I am hoping this neighborhood becomes when construction is done.
Anyways, I wanted to share with you some pictures of the new house for everyone that is a curious cat. You’ll have to excuse how plain it is right now, we haven’t gotten around to decorating too much but we hope you’ll come visit sometime.

“Prepare your work outside; get everything ready for yourself in the field, and after that build your house.” Proverbs 24:27

Love Always,

Baby K and Me
